To make it even easier, your FREE classroom gifts are not based on the number of orders, but on the number of “Yes” and “No” signed slips collected. The more students you have who return signed slips, whether they order or not, the more points you earn for FREE gifts. Downloadable slips to send home to parents, as well as other tools, are available below.

  • Personalize by signing or initialing each take-home slip where it says "Your child's teacher."
  • Write a quick note about the publication and staple a copy to each take-home slip.
  • Set a due date and write it on each slip. Remind your students and display the due date on your classroom calendar, blackboard, dry erase board or bulletin board.
  • If you have a classroom website, put a reminder on your online calendar, parents' page or with homework assignment listings.
  
  • Use the reminder email below to send a message to parents.
  • Take advantage of parents' night or parent conferences. Explain how the publication encourages learning at home, and pass out slips directly to parents.
  • Draw attention to the take-home slips with brightly colored "Please sign and return" stickers.
  • Use motivational stickers or other small treats to reward students for returning signed slips.
