A Backward Upside Down Party
Searching for a fun theme for a classroom party? This party teaches your students the basic concepts of right and wrong while allowing them to use their imagination and have fun learning.

Write invitations backward and upside down. Tell students to wear their clothes backward. Say "good-bye" when they arrive and "hello" when they leave.
Serve a meal backward. Begin with dessert, featuring upside-down, flat-bottomed cones with scoops of ice cream on top. Use candles on the cake that re-light after being blown out. Follow with a main course of inside-out sandwiches. Put a piece of bread between two slices of cold meat. End with a drink from a can of fruit juice opened at the wrong end.
Put a paper tablecloth on the floor and eat under the table. Play games like Backward Relay Race, Pin the Nose on the Donkey, Backward Treasure Hunt (where the treasure chest contains clues to lead players back to the start), and so on.
