Snow Sculpture Festival

Here's a low-cost, fun winter game for your students to play.

Snow Sculpture Party
If you think winter is dragging on, get your students to create a snow sculpture festival. (You'll need a place with plenty of fresh snow.) This is no lopsided snowman we're talking about. Think animals, monsters, machines, even famous faces. Let your imagination take over.

When you've finished sculpting your projects, it's time to color them. Yes, color! Mix a quart of water and at least 30 drops of food coloring. Fill empty spray bottles with the colored water. Now spritz color on your snow creations, and watch the neighborhood take notice.
