Bear Bingo
By Marie E. Cecchini
Here's a fun and furry twist to the classic game.

What you need:
- pencil
- scissors
- construction paper
- marker
- glue
- cotton balls or pompoms
How to make it:
- To make the bingo boards, draw and cut out bear shapes from construction paper. Make one board for each player. Use a marker to add facial features, and write six numbers between one and ten on each bear.
- Draw and cut out ten bear-head shapes from paper to make the number cards. Number them from one to ten.
- Glue cotton balls or pompoms to paper circles to make the playing pieces. Add paper eyes, ears, and noses. Make at least five pieces per player.
- To Play: Each player takes a board. Place the playing pieces where all players can reach them. Drop the number cards into a bag. Players take turns drawing a number card from the bag and reading the number on the card to the group. If the number is on a player’s card, he or she covers it with a playing piece. The first player to cover all the numbers on his or her card is the winner.
