Blooming Heart

Your secret message is revealed when you place this construction paper heart in water.
What you need:
- scissors
- red construction paper
- pencil
- white bond paper
- crayons or colored pencils
- glue
How to make it:
- Cut a heart from red construction paper.
- Draw a flower with six petals on white bond paper, and cut it out. Use crayons or colored pencils to decorate the petals and to write a secret message in the center. Fold each petal inward, covering the message.
- Turn the flower over, add a few dots of glue, and press it onto the heart.
- On the back, write "Float this heart in water, and watch a message bloom." When the heart is placed in a bowl of water, the petals will slowly open and your message will be revealed.
