Ghost House for Halloween Treats
By D.A. Woodliff
A quick and easy craft project to make in class or as a take home assignment.

What you need:
- large oatmeal container
- black paper
- orange paper
- brown paper
- white paper
- scissors
- glue
- marker
- spool
- cotton ball
- tissue
- thread
How to make it:
- Cover a large oatmeal container with black paper.
- From orange paper, cut out four windows and a door. Don’t glue then on the container yet.
- Make tattered shutters from brown paper. Glue them on the windows.
- Cut out five ghosts from white paper. Add faces to the ghosts and decorate the door with a marker. Glue the ghosts on the windows and door.
- Now glue the windows and door onto the container.
- From orange paper, cut out a circle to fit the lid. Glue it on. For a chimney, cover a spool with black paper. Glue it on.
- Place a cotton ball in a tissue, and tie it with thread to make a ghost. Use a marker to add a face. Glue the ghost to the chimney.
