Ghost House for Halloween Treats
By D.A. Woodliff

A quick and easy craft project to make in class or as a take home assignment.

What you need:

  • large oatmeal container
  • black paper
  • orange paper
  • brown paper
  • white paper
  • scissors
  • glue
  • marker
  • spool
  • cotton ball
  • tissue
  • thread

How to make it:

  1. Cover a large oatmeal container with black paper.

  2. From orange paper, cut out four windows and a door. Don’t glue then on the container yet.

  3. Make tattered shutters from brown paper. Glue them on the windows.

  4. Cut out five ghosts from white paper. Add faces to the ghosts and decorate the door with a marker. Glue the ghosts on the windows and door.

  5. Now glue the windows and door onto the container.

  6. From orange paper, cut out a circle to fit the lid. Glue it on. For a chimney, cover a spool with black paper. Glue it on.

  7. Place a cotton ball in a tissue, and tie it with thread to make a ghost. Use a marker to add a face. Glue the ghost to the chimney.
