Paper-Plate mitt craftWhat you need:

  • stapler
  • two paper plates
  • glue
  • paper bowl
  • paint
  • aluminum foil

How to make it:
  1. Staple together the edges of two sturdy paper plates, top to top, but leave a space big enough to fit your hand inside the plates.
  2. Glue the bottom of a sturdy paper bowl to one of the plates. Let it dry.
  3. Paint and decorate your mitt. Let it dry.
  4. Make a ball from aluminum foil.
  5. To play, slide your hand inside the mitt, with the bowl side on the palm of your hand. If you’re left-handed, put the mitt on your right hand. If you’re right-handed, put the mitt on your left hand. Toss the foil ball in the air, and try to catch it in the bowl.
  6. Have a friend make a mitt, and play catch together. If you have more than two players, stand in a circle and toss the ball around.
