Wacky Critters

A quick and easy craft project to make in class or as a take home assignment.
What you need:
- scissors
- poster board or craft foam
- glue
- pompoms
- wiggle eyes
- chenille sticks
- pencil
- clothespins
- magnetic strip
How to make it:
- For each critter, cut out two identical shapes from poster board or craft foam.
- Create a face on one shape by gluing on pompoms, wiggle eyes, and a chenille stick.
- For legs and arms, curl chenille sticks around a pencil. Glue them on the back of the face shape, then glue the face shape on the other shape, leaving a pencil-sized opening at the bottom. Use clothespins to hold the shapes in place until the glue dries.
- Glue on pompoms for hands and feet.
- Slip your critter on a pencil, or glue a magnetic strip on the back and hang it on the fridge.
