By Caroline Wyman

Objective: The students will be able to use adjectives that use a lot of description in their writing. Grades 2-5

Initiation: Read a sentence using little description..."The apple tasted good when the boy bit into it." Then revise the sentence using description "The juicy red apple tasted tart when the boy bit into it." Ask which sentence really gives you an understanding of what the apple tasted like.
